Apparently there are several cases across Europe in Spain, Portugal and the UK.
1 case so far in the USA.
Looks like a nasty bastard… Kills 1 in 10 apparently.
Caused by bodily contact or by touching infected surfaces and or materials.

That’s an excellent demonstration of how people mislead and misrepresent other arguments in bad faith.
Nobody said it was a purely gay disease. It is spreading and finding its feet in the gays first though because they don’t have women moderating their desire for copious amounts of sex with strangers. Let’s face it, it there were Hetero saunas in every town with decent naked ladies waiting around to dish out blowies, it would probably spread as quickly amongst the rest of us, but there aren’t, so it’s left to the chaps bumming chaps to give the disease its head as it were and let it find its feet before marching through the rest of us.
Also, the people suggesting we couldn’t hug our dying parents to prevent the spread of COVID are those up in arms at the idea that gay men should perhaps moderate their behaviour to prevent this spreading. I find that interesting.

AIDS was supposed to be a purely gay disease, and then, suddenly, it wasn't.
Since monkeypox doesn't even need sexual activity to spread, it's quite likely to become a heterosexual problem too.

What’s a bit strange is that the loudest voices in charge of locking down the whole world for two years and denying people the chance to sit with their dying loved ones in hospital, are the same people outraged at the suggestion that perhaps the gays should steer clear of bumming strangers in parks for a few weeks in order to let this thing pass over.
